Awesome stuff. It’s encouraging to see the vision and creativity behind your mission to Detroit. I attend Mars Hill in Seattle and I’m planning on planting a church shortly. It is always awesome to hear about the Gospel going forward in crazy places.

My wife and I just moved to Detroit from Kansas City. For two years were part of the Gathering Network there, involved in a missional community outreach to Bhutanese refugees living in downtown KC, KS.
And now we are church shopping. Is your ministry primarily a missional community, or is it associated with a core church with Sunday services.

Hey Paul, thanks for stopping by.
Short answer = our organizing principle, if you will, are our MCs. When we establish 4 we will meet for gathered worship, though even now 2x a month we gather on Sunday at someone’s house, as corporate worship is part of the rhythms of 24/7 life.
